The City’s cultural heartland is on track and on budget as work starts on the $60.5 million art gallery project. Early ground works are well underway at Evandale with car-parking being installed and piling for the six-level gallery about to start. The gallery is due for practical completion late 2020, with an early 2021 opening.
The project is designed to be the Gold Coast’s cultural heartland. It is hoped that the building will change the way people view the Gold Coast and give our artists and cultural sector a presence like never before.

The Green Bridge, linking the precinct with Chevron Island, is due for completion by the end of 2019. It is a $19.3 million project.
